hmm I think i would like i need you because I love you. My reason is because if someone loves you because they need you they can start at any time needing someone else. Then if you need someone because they love you well then they will not leave you i think.

I prefer I need you because I love you. because in this sentence indicates that I need someone that I loved him. but in the sentence I love you because I need you, this sentence means that I would love someone because I need, but if I do not need anymore I do not love anymore.

I do not agree with either statement. "I love you, and therefore I want you in my life" is the way that I feel it should be. I don't need you to survive, because I can do it on my own. I can live without you, but I do not want to live without you in my life, because I love you. Anything other than that is not a healthy type of relationship, in my opinion.

I need you because I love you, and why I love you because I need you. I feel both the statements are very close to each other. I feel its both way, may be we do not realize this. Finally I will say " I need you because I love you":)

For me, the two phrases share common thoughts.. there is "love" and there is "need" but I think it's much better to say "I need you because I love you" than "I love you because I need you" because there's a lil bit selfishness in the phrase "I love you because I need you" seems like the person who say that is like thinking of himself only..

I used to be more of a "I love you because I need you" type, and now I'm definitely more "I need you because I love you," and I think that's the way it should be. It means I'm more secure with myself than I was before, and I can value the person I love without being clouded by my own needs.
