Do you believe Green Tea can help with weight loss?

Have you ever tried drinking green tea or taking green tea supplements to lose weight? Has it worked for you? I like green tea, but don't drink it regularly, and am thinking of starting, since there are so many benefits to it, including the theory of weight loss. Do you believe this to be true?

I love drinking green tea. I drink 2-3 cup of brewed green tea everyday. I have noticed three years back when I am not yet a tea drinker, I easily gain weight everytime I ate a lot, but after being a tea drinker... I have noticed that I never gain weight again even if I ate a lot. I think drinking green tea after every meals helps in speeding up my metabolism that I never gain weight, instead I stay physically fit and healthy. Thanks to green tea.

NO, I dont believe it. I think the best way to losing weight is taking exercises. you must move to lose you calorise

I drink green tea all the time and I've never noticed that it helps with weight loss. It's packed with powerful antioxidants and I drink it more for the health benefits than for anything else. Weight loss would just be a bonue. IMO there is no magic solution to weight loss. The only thing that works is watching your calories and exercising consistently.

Green tea is proven to help boost your metabolism which helps increase fat burn. The thing about green tea is that your body can get used to it and then it doesn't help. The good news is, you can drink it for about two weeks to boost your metabolism, then just take a couple days off. As soon as you start again, you will get the metabolism boosting effects. So as long as you make sure that you are taking a couple days off from it every couple of weeks, you will get that metabolism boosting power that aids weight loss.

Go easy on tea and coffee. Tea and coffee are harmless by themselves. It’s when you add the cream and sugar that they become fattening. Did you know that having a cup of tea or coffee that has cream and at least two cubes of sugar is as bad as having a big piece of rich chocolate cake’

I don't think it helps overall with the weightloss but the antioxidants in it are wonderful for your health anyway. I think the best way it could help with the loss is to drink it instead of a pop when you get a craving for it. I personally drink green tea with spearmint in it and that also helps me get over my sweet cravings. Good luck!

I drink it all the time because it's 0 calorie and tasty. I don't think it does much for weight loss though. But it's good and it has antioxidants!
