how much a presidency cost?

do you ever wodner how much our president's salary is? in monthly basis? the reason why i asked is bec..i feel like the politicians pay too much on informercial and political campaign and yet they will only be having not so much while in the office... just think of how much wud a political campaggin ads on tv costs? i wonder how they tyhink of getting those money back.

Presidents are always millionaires long before they enter office. It's not a job they do for the money, they do it for the power. They make a little over 400K a year I believe, but their cost of living is pretty much nil. They get free food, free security, free transportation ANYWHERE in the world whenever they want. They have no bills, and no expenses that aren't footed by the taxpayers.

billioners before they enter politics? for maybe true but for some no... here in the philippines the president' salary is only 60-75k per month and for one candicate for president he is now spending 800million pesos for informercial..

"60-75k per month" Is that Pesos or dollars? That figures out to 900,000 a year, if you were refering to it in pesos it figures out to about $19443.00 in US dollars.
