And how much does politics influence the DOW? A drop of over 500 points in the past four days has people a little worried. Do you think we will be sliding back down to single digits soon enough? Lets face it, unemployment isn't getting any better. People will be getting back on unemployment since seasonal work is over. The housing market too not good at all. The government will of course pour more money in and choose a few more winners to do well while others suffer, but will that prevent us from sliding back down? Thoughts anyone?

if you think that you should pull your out of the Stock Market then do it it really your decision. I personally will keep some of my money in stocks just in case i get a big payout.

I pulled out in the nick of time last year when I had this feeling in the pit of my stomach and put it in at a good time and I made a decent profit. I'm getting that feeling again but it's not as strong as it was last time so I am second guessing myself. That's how you get a big payout..lol. Thanks

the fluctuation in the stock market it temporary if we talk about the long term benefit we need to stay in the market. If the market down it gives you opportunity to buy stock at low price.

Very true and I'm young enough to do that but I've done pretty well getting a nice short term gain.
