Do you like chemistry laboratory?

Chemicals on test tubes - We can see in the picture a very important part of a chemistry laboratory. You can see the different chemicals present in test tubes. Is it not looking good to watch?

I you ask a question from a student that which laboratory he or she like most. Then 3 out of 7 will raise their hands for the chemistry laboratory. I just tried to find the reason behind this. What is so special in a chemistry laboratory that makes it so popular. I think the colorful chemicals, the beakers, the test tubes, etc make a suitable combination which makes it look good. However there are several students who like Physics and Biology laboratory, but they are very less in number. Lets ask yourself, which laboratory you like most?

Well , I like Chemistry lab too because it is something that involves different colour and different technique. Unlike biology lab, you don't need to talk alot in a lab session and u focus to get ur product. That's the fun part i think.

So, I really love chemistry lab! I joined many chemistry competitions and my after school time is almost spent on the lab and doing experiments. It was a great time and I truly enjoy working with others students . What's more was that we got the same eagerness to achieve our goal . Therefore, I think I love the chemistry lab because of the feeling that working with others is great !

Well, out of all the laboratories, chemistry lab is my favourite. I find it interesting to add chemicals to something, and watching the result. I think it's cool :X

I study pharmacy so we don't have a chemistry laboratory, but we have organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry...and I can say that the inorganic chemistry one is the most interesting one with all the colorful chemicals. In organic chemistry chemicals are usually boring, while in analytical chemistry they are so diluted that they are colorless too. In biochemistry however, the products of the reactions are sometimes colorful, but most of the time they are not. Chemistry laboratories are a lot more boring in college than they were in high school.

Honestly, I like chemistry laboratory more than the others too. I guess most people, me included, like to play with chemicals and mix things up to form something new. It's just the curious nature in us. But of course, care still needs to be observed because we are dealing with toxic and harmful substances. The only thing I don't like about chemistry class is that if you break something (especially glass apparatus like beakers or measuring cylinders) you will have to pay for it in full price. We students who are alerady so poor and need to depend on our parents for money will become poorer.....

Yes colorful chemicals, different fumes.everything is different in the lab.I am from metallurgy stream where we have a chemical laboratory.I love the Chemical analysis course I did in my college. But we have to be careful while handling acids.Even a simple mistake could make disastrous damage to us.May be it is the reason why people are afraid of chemical laboratory.

Copper sulphate - It is easy to produce copper sulphate in a lab
I was a science student and chemistry was my favourite subject. We had to experiment in the chemical lab and also have practical questions for our exams. One such question was to produce copper sulphate. I knew the formula and was very happy with the question. I added sulphuric acid and copper oxide in the right proportionate and heated the substance and bingo loads of greenish blue coloured copper sulfate crystals just overflowed from the beaker. My professor was very pleased with the result and I got full marks for it. Everyone in the lab were looking at the results and showing surprise.

I prefer Chemistry Lab more. And even better when the teacher is not there,or busy somewhere and I am free to do anything what I want to do.I use to do lots of chemical reactions outside my curriculum when I was in school, and the teachers were not happy with what I did.But it felt good to do something perfectly without other peoples help.

hi there! im a chemist, ofcourse i will choose the chemistry laboratory. LOL. well, you are right. because of so many colored solutions inside the chemistry laboratory that is why its good with the eyes. unlike biology lab with lots of skeletal bones inside, which is scary. aside from that, there so many specimen inside this lab. but the most hazardous laboratory will be the chemistry laboratory. solutions anmd chemicals inside are very toxic so good handling is very important.
