Well,3g services are getting ready to be launched in our country,India.it assures broadband connection in cell phones and more features like speaking with visually seeing the caller. Will you switch over to the services when launched in your place? For other country people,do you enjoy 3G service in your home place? How is the experience?

hello srganesh, This service's been launched here in our country more than 3 years ago and it's working and a great help too esp with accidents and even with field reporters. Using mobile with 3g services can be able to connect and send live reports without any delay and could even delivered the news right on time. Thu,it costs a bit higher than the usual call rate..but,it's great help when facing some trouble or met an accident. Have a good day always

Well, i am from India. I am waiting for a better 3g service. It is true that BSNL has already launched it 3g service. But the service is not working in its full fledge. As everybody knows, in 3g service we can have videocalls,we can see the person to whom we are talking. I am very interested to use mobile 3g internet service. I want to download videos and songs at a very faster rate through 3 g service. But 3g service is quite costly in comparision to general service. Lets hope other networks to launch 3g service so that the service can be cost effective for the people. This is because the different networks will provide offers and lower their service rates to attract people. Thus, customers will be benifitted and will get 3g service at an affordable rate. Thanx for sharing.

Airtel will be soon in the race,I think. But it can't reduce much than BSNL.If you can remember rightly, only after BSNL step into mobile connections, all the private companies reduced their rates.I can still visualize how that "incoming calls free",created a revolution by BSNL.Otherwise people were paying for the incoming calls too, then. If there is competition then there will be hidden costs. We must be aware of that.

We already have 3G here in the USA. I like it as it is much faster, but then, the phone I have, some pages load faster than others, as it depends on the site. I do hope to upgrade later this year, in the summer as I want to get the droid phone, unless there is something out there that will be better than that one. It never seems to fail that after I buy a phone, a better one comes out. Talk about bad timing. Sprint has 4G now, which would be fater yet, but I am not with Sprint, so I won't have that for awhile. I just need a phone that will let me do my sites online when I am away from my computer. I hope to get one with wifi as well, as that would be faster too. Take care, and happy mylotting.

So,you are already enjoying the 3G phones. In India,it is just getting launched and it will take some more months to get it in our town. And the government is speaking of 4G soon, next year.I learned from this discussion that it could be a wonderful experience relating to the speed but cost some more.I will surely give a try, when introduced in my area.

I am a telecommunications engineer here in the Philippines and 3G is already quite outdated here in our country which is why our company will plan to switch to 4G soon. Anyway, I did hear about the 3G rollout in India and I suggest switching to it if you use the internet a lot using your phone because it provides a faster connection to the it than normal 2G phones which still use GPRS.

Oh yes!I use my GPRS connection a lot in my cell phone, especially for stock market updates and for checking mails.Sure,it would be fast with 3G,i hope but with a little extra cost.By the way, what does this 4G afford more than the 3G?Can you spare some more time to give extra details?

Do you mean to say that you have a cell phone with 3G capacity but there is no service by your provider at this time?Is it being delayed in china too as in India or you are hesitant towards it?Anyhow, people are having great expectations to experience 3G here and I am one among them.
