Today has been a bad day, our beloved dog Coach went blind sseveral months ago. This was not a problem as we loved him anyway, but this last week he went deaf too. He started spinning in circles as well. We were all really worried and as soon as we could we called the vet. And made an inmportant for Monday. He did not make it until Monday. LAst night he got really really bad hardly able to breathe. He wouldn't eat, wouldn't drink and would not even go to sleep. It was awful, he kept slamming into walls and getting stuck and crying. In the end we had to take him to a vet that's open on the weekend and have him put down. Now my brother whose dog he really was is upset and hurt. :( this is so sad.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Just know that you did the most loving act you could do to end his suffering. I've had to make that decision myself and it's not an easy one. I hope your sadness lessens each day a little bit, and you can soon just find comfort in all the memories you have of Coach. My thoughts are with you and your family at this very sad time.

I'm so sorry. It's terrible to lose a pet, especially a dog. I had a dog when I was growing up. That was many years ago, I still miss him. I'm especially sorry for your brother. At least he isn't suffering anymore. I have a cat now, I couldn't imagine losing her. It's almost like losing a family member who's a human. I'm very sorry
