Show some flesh

Philippines

I noticed that showing some bare flesh especially in women catches men's attention. Even here in Mylot, I saw pictures of women that wear nothing but under garments and they are being responded well No, I don't mean any offense because I believe in the saying that when you have it flaunt it. Don't you think that it is a great way to catch attention and gain more responses. It is like a way of an advertisement.

Humm you are absolutely correct in this case. That bare flesh attract any one (Any one means Bare flesh of men attract women and bare flesh of women attract men) If they are doing within certain limitation not crossing the line of vulgarity then it can be considered absolutely normal. And if they have such thing that can beneficial to for them to get attraction than it is okay. But to keep that attraction last for long time they have to more attractive from inner side (Personality, nature, soul etc) than their explosive fleshes. So the bare flesh can be the trigger point for the attraction only but for true relation maintenance, beauty inside is mandatory.

Hello, my dear.:-) I +don't think there is something wrong with a little flesh baring.:-) And, you are correct that there are also other things to consider aside from the outside beauty. Things that truly last longer if not permanently in the minds of the people we interact with every day of our lives.I must agree with you on this. Thus, bare flesh is just a come on to what is more substance-full from with in us.:-) Thank you, Esjosh for sharing your thoughts.:-)

Hello, Drakesuyat. :-) Of course, I noticed a picture or two here which displays bare skin. However, this case hasn't happened to Mylot alone. I also saw pictures more revealing (with hardly nothing that covers the body at all) than this and same out come they do get, more responses/comments.:-) I'd like to say though that the mylotters who posted pictures with such genre have good discussions and I can say, their discussions are better than some, even than mine.LOL. I know for sure that they are not just a beautiful body without a brain.:-) So, I guess, it is their way of expressing themselves and people have picked it up easily more than the ordinary looking avatars.:-) Thank you, Drake. Have a great weekend.:-)

Wearing skimpy clothes seems to be the norm these days if you want attention. I mean who wouldn't turn and gawk at someone wearing skimpy clothes (myself included) LOL even though i don't quite agree with body displays like that, it is a good way to attract attention

Lordofdarkness, hello there.:-) That depends on who is wearing a skimpy clothes. If she can carry it well, then definitely she will get a positive reaction. But, if it is awkwardly worn, well, sorry, I'd rather not look at her. But, yup. Wearing something really revealing is not much of a big deal anymore unlike the good old days.LOL. If she is your girlfriend, would you allow her to do so? I'm just wondering.

well showing a bit of flesh will always attract attention, but at the same time if the discussion is not that good then you will get responses but not a high quality of response. Though same as in real life show a bit of cleavage and you might get attention but will it be appropiate attention that you want

Hello, Benny:-) Well,I'm not really sure what the user's been thinking posting such picture but it surely works. Reality shows that facts. If it is a way to catch an attention and gain responses then, why not? That is for starter, however, you need to have good quality post to maintain a high ranking status or else you'll be considered as dumb bombshell... An appropriate attention can be gained depending on how creative you are. It is always a plus factor that aside from having skin to flaunt you have a brain to showcase, too. Thank you for sharing your views here.Have a great day.:-)

@Sexyangela: Beuaty is useless when you don't equipped it with an equally sexy brain. Flesh satisfies the eyes but it just a passing fancy thing. Once one exhaust all the benefits of such beauty, there will always a need to look for something more with a deeper substance and value. In our case here, it is the way how we convey our thoughts and emotions and the way we interact with other Mylotters.:-) Thanks for sharing sensible comments.:-) By the way, your avatar is cool:-)

It really depends. If the person's picture is taken on a beach baring too much flesh would not be a problem. But if someone is wearing an under garments then its a different topic. It sometimes attract bad comments and can be subjected to disrespectful tirades. I think a person can gain attention without showing off too much.

You are correct, Faimei. There are still other ways to attract attention without risking yourself in getting malicious comments and thoughts in public. You have a logic there. True. If it is taken in a beach then it is understandable but if it is purposely taken in a private room and displayed in public then it is a different story. Unless you are a model of a lingerie.LOL Thank you for sharing some logic here. Have a wonderful day ahead.:-)

LOL. I don't have what it takes to show some bare skin. Personally, I can never do that. But, when I said that phrase I was referring to a ore gutsy person who has "it". If she/he can carry it well, then let her/him. But, not me.LOL Thank you, Brymel, for responding to this discussion. Have a great morning from the Philippines.:-)

Hi eureka! :-) You have a very interesting point to make. Pictures used as an avatar or uploaded in one's profile page with some bare skin, some revealing outfits and some s*xy pose(s) draw other user's attention and one may get more resonses or comments. However, I fully agree with the response of 'sexyangela' above my response that catchy pictures alone cannot fetch responses all the time, if that particular user's discussions are not meaningful and interesting. I believe that I cannot survive here or cannot be favourite of my friends untill and unless my posts carry some sum and substance and worth discussing. Good day! Deepak

Hello dear! Ha! ha! ha! Your question about my avatar picture sounds interesting. If I do not reveal to you whether it is my son or me or some else, will it make any difference to our interaction (I do not think so). (I would keep the suspense on for the time being........lol!) It is really heartening to know that it was my avatar which prompted you to accept my request for add at the first instance. You see having a good picture as an Avatar does help in getting attention, however to my mind, it helps in getting more responses only to some extent (say 10%). If I start giving you very brief responses to your posts and you also start doing the same, our relations will not strengthen and one day we may stop responding to each other. If I do not write meaningful and thought provoking ideas/views in my threads, I won't be able to survive for long, even if I have an excellent avatar. Avatar is just an identity of a user, so that we could identiy him/her quickly, wherever we see him/her on mylot. I agree with your point of creativity that one must come out with an attractive and catchy avatar and it helps in drawing others attention and those who do not have any avatar at all or those who have very simple avatar which do not draw any attention may be receiving less number of responses, compared to their expectations. I do not respond to a thread only on the basis of an Avatar, I respond only if I can relate to a post. And I'll continue to do so. deepak Have a wonderful day! :-)

Hello, My dear.:-) I was honest enough to tell you what my caught my attention. But, of course, the meaningful responses you gave is the main reason why I am always looking forward of reading your discussions or responses. But sure thing, my dear. A good avatar is a good way to catch attention, isn't it? Would you rather put something here as your avatar that appears dull instead of the picture profile of yours? I don't think so. YOu said it right that avatars do make us remember a friend or Mylotters in this case, as easily as possible. So, I can say that the picture or avatar has a purpose. Whatever it is, the rightful owner has every right to post it especially if his/her purpose is served well for doing so. I will always wonder if it just a baby from a magazine or yours. However, I'd like to repeat that your picture here makes me smile.:-)

Hello, my dear. I'm glad to see you here.:-) First thing first, Is that a picture of your son or yours as a baby? For that picture in your profile had first caught my attention. Making it hard for me to refuse you as a friend. I do agree with both of you in this aspect. Having an interesting picture or avatar in your profile HELPS you draw more attention but it is indeed the quality of your posts that will always matter. But, I'd say that I'll be more eager to reply to an interesting post( with sum and substance, if I may borrow your words for it) of a user who has an appealing avatar or picture, too. One way or another, one must show creativity in order to get noticed especially for the newbies here.It also works when adding a friend's request, don't you think? Have a wonderful week ahead, my dear.:-)

Do you really think it is her original photo. I have my own doubts on that,a couple of photos looked very much to be done with a photo shop and I have also point blank asker her, whether it is an original photo. I even have my doubts whether that member is female or a male who is acting as a female. Yes I have also noted so many people are responding to those discussions. Well for young males bare flesh of woman is some thing which they do not see regularly, so they think they if they respond more, she might show all her stuff.

Hello, Ramesh.:-) Sometimes it is doubtful if the picture we are looking at is the person itself. However, for the sake of getting noticed, this thing seems to work well with some of us. I have a co member at a particular website that bares flesh more and more to generate more traffics for her articles. It is really working for you can see the number of posted comments under her articles.LOL You see, this type of publicity sometimes do wonders. And there are willing patrons of this kind of thing. Thank you for responding:-)

Hello, dear.:-) Anyone who has the guts can definitely do this. To use it for other means as to attract in a destructive way is not cool. And, yes it is more enticing to maintain a little mystery about yourself especially when it comes to our body of which we consider private. Personally, I'll not respond to a discussion or post of someone showing bare skin if that discussion has no sense at all. You might find it cheap (others will, too) but to the most males here they find it enjoyable , I bet.. We, women have a different perspective over things especially things like this than men do.:-) Thank you, my friend for sharing your private thought about this. I truly appreciate it.:-) Have a wonderful weekend ahead. God bless.:-)

Well i think you are right at some point. But i dont totally agree with it, i think there should be a skill and that skill should have that power of attracting people towards itself. Like if we have a topic which itself draws attention then we dont really need our body to flaunt for responses, no offense but i dont think we can use ourselves just like this.

I think that the pictures that show some skin, especially if the picture is attractive, do draw more attention and interest from certain users than other ones do. I think that things that people find visually attractive do tend to draw the interest more than other things. Once the initial attraction wears off, though, I think there has to be substance and interesting discussions to maintain the same interest level. Otherwise, people will become bored and just move on to a more interesting discussion. There is also the chance that these type of pictures might attract some unwanted and inappropriate comments and interest. I do not have a problem with people that use these type of pictures, and I too have noticed that their discussions seem to get quite a bit of responses, even when the discussion does not seem to be of exceptionally high quality. Since you only earn for what you type, however, getting a ton of responses on your discussion will only help you if you respond to each of them with quality comments. Therefore, I would rather have an avatar that I find pleasing and that might attract people's attention for the right reasons (not just to see more skin) and hopefully keep their interest with my words.

Hello, Purplealabaster:-) With the way your avatar looks, you will surely catch and draw attention.Who wouldn't be able to notice those lovely bright colored flowers? :-) And, the way you express your thoughts, I'd say, it is exceptionally flawless and clear, it is a hundred percent thing that you can sustain one's user's interest for a very long period of time. :-) You are right, though, that there are pros and cons in putting such type of pictures, but, I guess it depends on how daring and open minded that person who owns it. If you can't take criticism and bitter consequence, then find other ways to get noticed. If you can pull off anything then, why not? Thank you for sharing your points of view here. Have a great week.:-)

Hello, Goodday.:-) Blame it to human nature, then.:-) Humans are prone to get attracted to what is not commonly seen. We tend to draw attention when we do something extra out of the ordinary especially if the outcome satisfies the eyes.:-) The thing here is as long as you are the only one who is directly affected by it and you are not somehow creating a negative environment because of what you are doing, then, I guess, it is ok to do such thing.:-) Have a great weekend. Thank you for the response.:-)

hey sis, i dont think so there is anything wrong in doing so if it generates responses, unless the content is offensive. tat might be one of the way of catching attention, though wrong, but working. i mean i respond to ur discussions also and also to the users who catches my attention for whatever reason it might be. it doesnt matter for me.

Hi there, Jayesh.:-) Like you I respond to a discussion not because I saw a bare flesh as the user's picture. It is because of the discussion itself. However, I must admit that I do noticed other user's discussion because of trheir profile pictures. Yup, there's nothing wrong with it. And, I don't think it is offensive to other users, too. The only person who might or might not get offended is the the owner of such picture. If it works then why not? Thank you for sharing your views. Have a great day ahead and happy mylotting.:-)

to each their own, right. but that's human nature specially men's that some flash showing will catch their attention. I have nothing against it, but I personally am not a showing lots of skin chick...let the others have fun, right, cause after all body is not all, soul is important too.

Hello.:-) Everybody has the right to do what they please especially with their own body. If they feel confident about it, then why not? Whatever their purpose maybe, as long as they are open with the consequence of their actions, there is nothing wrong to it. As you said, let them have fun if they find it fun at all. Body is just a passing thing, it will eventually rot, what counts and will prevail forever is the soul, indeed.:-) Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Have a great weekend.:-)

Hmm..well some people here are very modern and yes it attracts men..Its a guy thing..no offense to guys but well be honest you sometimes get easily attracted by those girls who show some flesh :-), they just got curious. Hi there, Angellyn.:-) It is not just the guys who get curious about those pictures that show skin. I myself will admit that I got curious, one time or another to the person's real self when I saw her/his picture showing flesh/muscles. I wonder if she/he has something more to offer other than great abs or sexy figure.LOL Thus, checking all her discussion to dig up something more deeper about the person. It's effective way of getting noticed. Plus, there's nothing wrong if one is comfortable with her/his picture.:-) Thank you for sharing your views. Have a wonderful week ahead.:-)

Anyhoo, getting more users to respond to your discussion is the main reason for posting, isn't it? Other than just sharing a thought or two here? During these times it has become more sad for people because of all sorts of tragedies like the recent Haiti earthquake. I think it is because of the sadness that people were attracted to more light things in life as that of sexy pictures and so on. Theres just that need to stay away from sadness that makes a good motivation and one way is by browsing through funny if not adult content in the internet. As for me, they have the right to do so since it is every humans right to be happy.

Hello, Cowboyofhell:-) Yup, sometimes people do stuff for the sake of avoiding a grim situation. And you have a point there that we tend to look to a more lighter picture or thing than that that represents a more serious picture. Sometimes, the pictures says something about the person's real self, too. So, there's nothing wrong with posting such type of picture in one's page.:-) Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Have a great day.:-)
