Yoga to lose weight

Hello guys! I got interested with yoga since last few days. I was browsing Youtube looking for some videos on how to lose weight then I saw this exercise videos. While looking for a good one, I saw this Yoga exercises. I found this nice video, "Yoga for weight loss". After following the step by step procedure, I started to have interest in continuing this. I feel better and more relaxed in doing the Yoga exercises. What do you do to lose weight? Have you tried doing Yoga exercises? I hope you'll share me your ideas.

I've been interested in trying Yoga for some time. From what I understand, there are a lot of different types of yoga. You have the pretty basic, slow paced yoga for people that are just beginning that's more relaxing than anything. Then you have the yoga that is more labor intensive meant to help people burn calories and lose weight. I'd really look into the types of yoga that are available so you can see what they do have out there because there are so many different types.

I have been doing Yoga for several years now and don't think it helped me loose weight, I don't think I burn many calories, but it has made me stronger and I am sure my health is improved. Stress level is way down.

hi,yoga does help in weight loss as it cleanses you mentally and emotionally as well.If you could try doing vinyaasa .Its a dynamic form.This coupled with sensible eating will help you.

I've have been doing yoga now for almost a month. Although on the scales my weight is the same as it was, this is purely because muscle weighs more than fat. I feel stronger, and look leaner and more toned than I can ever remember! I've also found that little things like have a rounder stomach than I'd like are beginning to seem more and more insignificant with every session. I follow Yoga Zone, which is shown on Body In Balance TV channel in the UK. I've also found that the severe back pain I suffered and my restless nights have all but disappeared! Stick with it, it's worth it.
