Do You Prefer A Hot Bath Over Pain Pills When It Comes To Body Aches?

I would consider this natures way of helping aches and pains. I prefer topical pain cream such as Blue-Emu Cream(Good Stuff) and a hot bath.

elmiko hi I do both think some ibuprofin and get under a hot shower but then I have some arthritis and am a senior citizen so I do what my doctor suggests. Body aches are one thing, but full blown arthritis can be much more painful and hot shower alone will not do one blasted thing but goose it a bit with the pain pills and you feel great.

I prefer the pills, because it's hard for me to get in and out of the bathtub, especially when I am in pain. But when I lived in the apartment in Sedona with the in-ground hot tub with the steps and the railing going down into it (out in the back yard) I would jump in there before taking a pain pill.

that sounds like a nice tub to have.

As a matter of fact, I do prefer a hot bath when I can get one. It relaxes all of my tight muscles and I can read while I'm in there too! :-)

Nah, give me the pills. I can take a hot shower but sitting in the bath waiting for the water to get cold is no fun for me.

hi there. for me it just depends on what is ailing me lol. if i have a backache or or stomache ache i will usually pop a asprin and get in a hot bath as hot as i can stand it. if i have a tooth ache i will pop a pain pill in a min. in case of a tooth ache i dont have any meds i have found that boiling water and placing a hot rag against my cheecks makes the pain stop immediately. but i dont like to use pain pills that often only when nothing else works.
