What kind of music?

I go for alternative rock music... It relaxes my soul...

Well, StaciLyn1988, you and I are opposites here. :) I like all kinds of music except country. Jazz and classical are particular favorites for me. I am a rocker girl at heart with a fondness for classic rock from the late 60s and 70s. I can actually tolerate most music if the music fits the mood of a situation. Music is a very experiential, soulful thing for me. I should say that even country is tolerable when I'm in a country and western setting. But allow me to say, if too much 'twangy' country is played at one time, I will find a way to remove myself from that setting.

I prefer alternative,emo, pop rock, pop and reggae...These genres soothe my heart and soul. music is a food to my heart and soul. The modern band that i really admire most is The Fray. Their songs are really inspirational.

For the most part, I enjoy music that was around during the 1980s or older. There is a variety of different genres during that time, that it was hard to just pick out a certain type of music that I enjoy. I do like some stuff from today, but the older music was my favorite. If I had to pick one specific genre, it would be rock.
