I've just recently quit my second job, giving me a lot of extra time on my hands. At this point, I'm looking for some new awesome books to read with my new exciting free time. I am up for anything, just looking for some good reads. Any suggestions would be awesome and much appreciated, what are your favorites, and what recommendations would you give me?

Go for science fiction, or fantasies... also classic books and inspirational books...

The books you would like to read depends a lot on the genre of your interest. However, I would suggest a few concise books which will not only keep you updated about a lot of happenings in brief, but will also widen your outlook. Try "The World is Flat" from Thomas Friedman. Even "Blink" and Tipping Point from Malcom Gladwell are nice. And if you just want good short reads, try to get "Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish" from Renuka Bansal. It is a collection of 25 real life stories of Entrepreneurs.

I enjoy James Patterson, Danielle Steel, and Nora Roberts. Also Willie Nelson has a great book called "A tale out of Luck" it's about a Texas Ranger, his son, his adopted son and Indians. It's a fast and great read. I also have in the past enjoyed going to, and still do from time to time fitionpress.com, I have an account there under the same username I use here, in any case, it's poetry and fiction stories written by people.
