If you owned a human sized programmable robot, what would you program it to do? Would you have it clean your house, cook your dinners? What would be your best use of a robot that would do whatever you would want it to do? Share those fantasies, keep it clean.

You know my answer...lol. I'd have a robot do the gardening, act as chauffeur and maid and as child minder for my pets. He'd also be my secretary and work out my schedule to include massage therapy and exercise. If he could be programmed for menus, that would be handy and entail some work because I would still like to do the shopping etc. Hopefully though, if he could be programmed to stick to a budget he could maybe do the shopping as well. Just think of it, living in an immaculate home with a beautiful, well maintained garden and be waited on hand and foot with a minimum of communication. I probably could not afford to own one if it ever came to pass.

....Hi MsTickle, I felt that you would be in line for one of these hot off the assembly line. "o) Wouldn't this be the greatest thing going on, clean my house, wash my car, cook my dinner? Whatever I needed robob to do, he could be my helper forever. Things cost a lot in the beginning, just like microwave ovens or large screen televisions, we could just wait until they get a newer model, and get one on sale. Don't even need to feed him. It would be heaven. Thanks for your response, Take good care.

I would definitely have him clean my apartment and make my bed so that I could focus on the more important things like being on Mylot.

...Hi there 1hopefulman, Hmmmmm, forgot about that bed making little thing, have to put that on my list as well. If we did have one of these available it would certainly give us time to do other more important things as you say. Wonder if it would be allowed to substitute at work? Might do a better job than we would, who knows? Then again we might not have a job the next day if it did too well. "o) Thanks for your response. Take it easy.

I would really love to have one that will clean and fix my closet everytime, that one who knows how to separate my undies, pants and blouses and put them in thier proper places..haha.. I really have a hard time fixing my closet, i mean my clothes in it. I also would want to have a robot to clean my house especially the toilet, because it's too tiresome to do it. LOL!

...Hi there sharlionse, Would that just be the greatest? Just tell it what to do and robob takes off to start the action. Cleaning the bathroom would be a priority, washing and waxing the car for sure. It would never get tired. It would be awesome to say the least. They already have a robot vacuum cleaner, as you know, which believe it or not, I thought of some 25 or more years ago, and mentioned it to some friends of mine and I always wondered if one of them took the idea to a company. Too bad, but you have to act on things or it's gone. So I suspect this is somewhere being developed, in fact I've seen something like it out of Japan on television some time ago. Take care, thanks for sharing.
