IIn PTC site ads are absolutely needed. PTC will exist and survive if they got many advertiser. A member have to click ads everyday because their earning depend on their click. No click, no money. Many social network site also need ads. Social network that pay their member need much ads every day. It's not like PTC site, a member in social network site have not to click ads every day. After joining for a few days, I have just realized that there are much ads from the sponsor here in mylot. Have you ever click ads at mylot?
