Yesterday My boyfriend and I finalize our plan for feb.14 which is one of the most important day to celebrate for all couples. it is quite soon for me but i know its better because since were almost near in last week of jan. surely all hotels, restaurants & concerts are fully booked by then. for this year we plan to watch a concert which is quite new for us because we used to spent valentines at home for a dinner only. So how about you? are you starting to plan for valentines? is it something new or the same as last year?

this would be our first valentine together.. we would be going to a hot air balloon event out of town.. with friends.. on feb 13. i haven't thought much about feb 14 yet. because of that trip, most probably we would be sooo tired. so we'd just be staying at home. but we might go out for dinner at our favorite restaurant or go to the mall to watch a late movie. i'm a bit excited. but i'm still blank on what gift to give.

Nice first valentine plan.. but surely 14 will be much better if you could spent time alone with your partner. the gift is just a little part of the day but not much important its still the thought that counts..

what do u mean by "most important day to celebrate for all couples", its just "a day" a normal day ... i am not against valentne day but it is not "most important day" dear .. there r so many important days in life .. i told my husband, never to buy flowers, go for dinner or movies for this .. but i don mind something for my birthday though do enjoy your valentine concert dear ..

Well everyone has its own opinion about it. i respect yours aswell. Its most important for me because "almost" not all i admit take this day as a celebration of love. its Once a year & globally remember to take remember and make an effort to show their appreciation etc to their loved ones. which not everyday happens because we people tend to forget it once in a while during our regular days.

sad to say we do not spend it outside anymore, we used to before, but most of the time, we spend the time in the car because of the traffic. so lately we just go out 1-2 days before or after valentines day

I agree since almost everyone wanted to celebrate the day.. so lots of couples are outside and end up in hassle traffic jam. but that's ok whats really important i think is you still celebrate the valentines together before or after feb.14, actually the date is not really that matter as long as you both know how to give quality time to each other.

huh? why is that so.. why it became your yearly experience? you could go out with your friends anyway if you don't have a partner yet.. or if the sched is the problem why not celebrate it some other day.. like before or after feb.14?

wow, this year valentine day is a good day since Feb 14th happens to be Chinese New Year. Unluckily I can not spend that day with my boyfriend since we are not in the same city. Instead, we will stay with each family. But we have a Chinese valentine day plan to make up for.

kung hei fat choi to you! Yes, I think that what makes feb.14 much important this year because of 2 occasions. Well spending time with your family will make the day as special as having your boyfriend around or not as long as you enjoy the day.

I feel I'm so excited when you say feb.14, because it's double celebrate days for Chinese people, it's Chinese New Year and Valentine Day. I can't spend the speical days with my husband like usual, on the opposit, I will stay with all of my familiers to spend the special days.

we'd rather celebrate it simple. eat, watch a concert, go to a spa. after get something to eat or some coffee and go for a walk and talk in a park or anywhere with a nice ambiance. that should be our valentines day celebration. of course, you should try your valentines day not to be the same or exactly like last year. romantic purposes.
