Nowadays, laptops are so much affordable than, say, 10 years ago. Most students own a laptop these days, and they use their laptops for daily classes as well as doing projects on it. Since students have to bring their laptops to school daily, one of the criteria to consider will be the weight. A 12-inch laptop with Intel Centrino2 processor, weighing about 1.5 to 2kg, equipped with 4GB of RAM and accelerated graphics, should be light, good, and powerful enough for any student.
