I want to change my major

I am a phd student of biology in china. I don't like my major at all. Do you think it is reasonable to change to accounting?

My friend who graduated in accountancy from the same college where I graduated made a surprise turn to take up legal studies after graduation. Now she is running a successful legal firm. She has nothing to lose as she is the master of two disciplines.

Thanks for your encouragement. But I am a phd student of biology now. If I turn to manage school, is it easy to apply a schoolarship? If the teacher will think that our backgroud is too far from economy?
