I think I've been surrounded with people rude to animals. Our neighbor had a dog and a lot of chickens. The dog was tied near a pen where the chicks were, and sometimes the dog would kill them. The owner got really mad that two days ago he decided to have the poor dog slaughtered. I didn't know it by then because it was killed not in their place. I wouldn't have been able to concentrate on what I was doing if I was hearing those cries of pain.=( In the Philippines dog meat is no longer uncommon. It is estimated that 500,000 dogs are killed annually for human consumption. Is it even healthy to eat dog meat? There have been reported deaths of Filipinos caused by rabies transmission after eating dog meat. The way they slaughter these dogs is reproachable. The dogs would be forced into a crowded truck where most of them suffocate and die. Their throats would be slit while they're still conscious, and then a torch would be used to burn their fur. How inhumane is that? Now I'm gonna ask you. Have you ever eaten dog meat? If you have already, please let that be your last one..=(
