I have read the bible from front to back 6 times, and have started the seventh, but I have backslidden on reading in the last year. Each time you read, you learn even more, because God says those who diligently seek shall find.

I agree with you. Reading the bible daily could serve us a guide to live meaningful and happy life. It feels like God is talking with us, it's indeed the words of God. Bible can be real hard to understand, as we need to meditate to sink in the words of God in our heart. We need to read to understand not to know. We need to learn to gain wisdom not knowledge. Anyway keep on reading the Bible and you'll find the answer to your questions. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your weekends!

Nope. I know people who have. I have read the entire book of job though. When you read the bible you have to analysis what you read so Its difficult to read the whole thing and take it all in with any meaning.

Fortunately, I have finished my first round Bible reading last year - though it cost me six or seven years! But when I read Bible more, I find it easier and easier to do it! In fact, Bible is hard understood. But it's also quite important for me to learn it. Now I read Bible everyday! And there are a lot of my friends read Bible once every year.
