the present indian team is very much struggling with injury. 4 players were injured in last series dravid, sreesanth, laxman, yuvaraj. this is a vey very bad thing for the team.but some junior players will get chance to play. this is not a good sign for the team who are going to face a good team. indians were able to beat bangladesh, but i dont think india will be able to win the upcomming series comfortably with these team. will india be able to beat SA without these players?

Is it really bad thing? I guess the way Murali Karthik batted in the One-day.. We definitely found one more batsman... I guess this is the right time that Indian team check its bench strength. It will provide good opportunity for the youngsters and we will also be able to find out the answer.. who is next? after Dravid and Laxman. This might give us opportunity to prepare the bench strength for the WC2010. I agree, South Africa has done well in the subcontinent, but moral of Indian team is high after defeating the Sri Lanka and Bangladesh moreover this team will strive to maintain its numero uno position. I guess this was the reason BCCI asked for more tests..

Indian bowlers are unpredictable. They are not consistent and somehow one or two guys delivered when it needed against both SriLanka and Bangladesh so they did win. Against South Africa one needs to be on their top form to beat them. If Indian pacers fail to get early wickets then India can expect a huge total from the proteas as the Indian spinners are not in form. Harbhajan is not at all performing. Ojha is still new and Amit Mishra cannot be expected to bowl like Anil Kumble. So Spin department is weak unless they charge up and perform miraculously. And If Dravid is also not available as Yuvraj is ruled out already then Indian batting needs to play responsibly to outshine South Africa. South Africans have performed well in India in the past and have defeated India in Test series. Indians need to sharpen some of the weak areas.

yes indian bowlers are unpredictable. some time they bowls very poor as they are playing cricket for the first team, but some tme the deliver the bowling attack very well. i think the spin department is a huge problem as harbajan is not in form for th last few months.

In way it is good that these seniors are having some injuries, and it is time to put in some new blood like, Murali Vijay, Badrinath or even bring back Md.Kaif, who is good form. There are other players like Rehane or Sharma, who can fill in the shoes of R.Dravid, VVS, and Yuvaraj. This is a god sent opportunity for the selectors to try in some new blood against one of the strongest teams in the world.Let us hope the selectors do something new.

It is very bad for Indian team as 4 prolific players are having chances of missing the test series against the South Africans. As in place of them the youngsters will get chance but it will let South Africa have a easy go at the Indians and if they beat India then they could become the number 1 in the ratings. And as dravid got that blow from the shshadat,I felt it was very bad and so then the info came that he has a jaw misplaced lets hope he gets well early. As of the four Dravid was in good nick and Yuvraj should get available in the ODIs.If dravid and yuvraj not play then it will give kohli good chance to show that how good batsman he is. As for long time the Indians had such a strong lineup and if 3 of them don't play against the SA then it is really bad for Indian cricket as they have been doing the repair job when there have been 2 to 3 wickets in succession, lets hope they get well soon. The indians are prone to injuries as today zaher was seen having problems with his back,It should not be serious and should be there against the SA.
