This is an early april fool's joke, right? It's not real, right? It just looks like a big 500 dollar iPhone if you ask me. it looks STUPID. I hate things that are expensive and a waste of people's time, energy, money, and my will to live.

Here we go again Apple pinch technology that's been available elsewhere in the past, which can be done better for a fraction of the price, and they merely slap their own corporate logo on it to attract consumers into buying the product "because it's Apple".

Kennedy, I just beg to differ here and if you actually look into the specs, I am sure it will tell you whole lot of differences. It is really quite an impressive device.

I've gone one and looked at the specs, that's why I stand tht it's a large iPhone. I'm disappointed in Apple and feel insulted that they'd expect me as a consumer to be impressed with them.

dreemsofdark, Contrary to what your impressions are here, I felt that this is really a very good move by Apple against the Netbooks and Tablet PCs in the market, the iPad is just the timely and worthy competitor here. And rightly so, as Steve Job quoted: ""The problem is Netbooks aren't better at anything. They're just cheap laptops. We think we have something better." I am very impressed with the some of the thoughtful features where for one an inbuilt 3G wireless modem which is so lacking in the netbooks in the market. Not forgetting that their Wi-Fi antenna supports 802.11 a/b/g/n and it has the same oleophobic coating that made its debut on the iPhone 3GS which helps face and finger grease bead ups' wipe off easier. Then, there is the accelerometer that can detect whether the device is in portrait or landscape mode. Though it it sports a finger-friendly OS with an on-screen QWERTY keyboard, it also has has a 30-pin dock connector which connects to a dock that comes with a keyboard for the iPad. Also, it boast a 10 hour battery life with a one month standby time, where you can leave it aside and not use it for up to 30 days and did you know that it has a digital compass??!!! In all honesty, I do not know about you but overall I am really for it and I'd prefer this anytime over the netbooks and even Tablet PCs in the market.

So basically yes, it's a large iPhone that you can connect a keyboard to. This isn't impressive to me.
