do you have a small pimple-like pimple on your eyelid. it could be a stye. if not, i would visit an ophthamologist to get my eyes checked. eye strain for me gave me headaches and i had to get glasses. best to you

I can understand just how your eyes feel! It happens to me too at times.
One thing that you can do to help is to about once an hour look away from your pc or book and focus your eyes together on something that is across the room from you.
Then choose another item and cover one eye while focusing as best you can on that new object with the one eye. Then switch and do the same for the other side. By refocusing your eyes on something that is a distance that is much farther than what you have been focusing on, you in effect reset your eye muscles.
When you are focusing on the more distant object do so for about 30 seconds to 1 minute for each step. That should help somewhat. Humans are designed much more for distance vision. Think back to the hunter / gatherer days where we were hunting across distances to find what we wanted to hunt or gather With our new technology, we are pushing our eyes in a new way from our ancestors.
Hope this helps abit!! Remember to get some fresh air and relax and close your eyes from time to time too! Take Care!!
