I bought some thing the other day. I paid $40 for that. A friend of mine said that she bought one too, and paid just $ 39.99. She beat me , and she was very happy that she beat me ! Ha ha ! She drove 3 kilometers to get that for that price , just to beat me !! Does that make sense ? What do you think ?

LOL..that's funny. It doesn't make sense for why she wanted to drive 3 km just to buy something cheaper there, even by a penny! LOL... reminds me of some friends I have back then. They would say this and that and insert some show-off lines and brag. I don't like it when friends brag, but when they do, they do..so no choice but to just listen. I wish I had told them off back then.

No, this doesn't make sense to me. I don't know how far 3 kilometers is but it doesn't sound very far. You just paid a penny more than what she paid and that's not a whole lot of difference. Why would she want to beat you, anyway? Maybe next time you can beat her and pay a penny more, lol

You called this person a friend? I call her a competitor, not a friend! I true friend wouldn't boast about getting something for a penny, A penny cheaper.If I had gotten something cheaper I would star out by saying , " Don't Kill me but..." and if it is something you get normally I would tell you where I got mine so you can save the next time.

it is funny but it does not make any sense. there are people wo likes competing and they think they won out of silliness har har har. my brother also loves to compete with me and he always ends up being the one who is the loser for he acts before he thinks. i dont compete with him but he just love doing things that he thinks he will win with that way.
