While I am working here now, I thought of browsing the images from my camera which I want to share with you.
In this photo taken on December 31, 2009, there are some people trying to find something that they can serve on their tables. During this time that is low-tide, people go to this part of the sea. about 200 meters from the shore, to find shells, shrimps or anything that could be cooked, so they can have something to eat for the next meal time.
The location of this scene is Argao, Cebu, Philippines.
Now, if you can share some images from your place where you are now, please do it here. So that we can feel how it is to be there. You can respond anyway even without a photo.
So how does it feel to be there in your place?

hello neil,
I miss Cebu,i was born and raised in that place..i been living there for 14 years.
I spent my childhood memories in that beautiful place of the South.
I always longed to be back there and have some retrospective moments(hahaha...being sentimental owsss!!!)
Here is one place in my hometown which i often visited every time me and my kids had our summer vacation.
this is taken at the "Ampitheatre...inside the CAMP JOHN HAY" BAGUIO CITY.

hello neil!as you know i am also from cebu and so more or less we do have the same feel for this place since both of us are just an adopted son & daughter of the queen city of the south! hehe
that scene is very familiar to me since i am also living by the beach in previous years and actually just last december i also do that myself...
but the location is in Asturias Cebu...
its nice living by the beach coz its fresher there & more relaxing & life is simple...
by the way, argao is such a nice place, we are there last Sunday and visited the riverstone castle...have been there already?

when i saw the picture you uploaded with this post, i thought it is our place.
we really have a very similar scenery.
i never been in asturias but i know, it has almost the same scenery and the life there is almost the same as there in argao.

hello neil!really? your place in argao is just near in riverstone castle? great! hehe i wish to be back there coz i miss to eat the pizza & they say 'torta' in argao is the best? was it true?well, i think most parts here in Cebu specially the provinces do have such nice scenery and way of living specially the common people is almost the same...
that picture was in Asturias...
but i think beaches in Argao is better coz they do have white sand...in Asturias, no white sand! hehe
and here in Talisay...nah, itheir beach is no match as compared to those in the provinces like Argao, Badian, Asturias...and more in the north & south!here's another shot of that place...

Good morning neil, have no pictures to show but if i did there is nothing growing here u could eat at this time. It's winter & everything has been gone for months. U can get veggies & fruit at the grocery but they do not compare to the fresh things u can get in the summer.

i heard about the weather right at this moment at your place, and i really think that it is not possible for plants to grow now. yes it's true, nothing compared to fresh food we can get from places like the beaches and farm, especially in summer time. i have added another photo of the farm/rice fields that you can see in here.

I still lack some posts before I can upload pictures, so I have to describe here then :-) I like yours though, nice shot!
I took some pictures of snow-covered forrests today, it has been snowing all night and the trees were all white. It would have been even nicer with some sun of course, but it is supposed to get colder this weekend so hopefully I'll get white, shiny trees, blue skies and gleaming ice. Winter is cold, but very pretty every now and then.

yes, people says that it's too cold to be in a place with snow. but the feeling is good to see the trees turned white. winter seems to be beautiful but if our place gets colder, and i feel colder at night, i say to myself, "can i live there, if it's winter?"
