Last day i was recovered some videos in my laptop. The format is avi file. Off course, it can be recovered with tune up utilities well. But it can't opened anymore seems like it was damaged or whatever. How to recover avi file so it can opened succesfully? And what is the free full version application to obtain that? Thanks for your explanation. Happy mylotting.

there are remarks on the file before recovering it..if it says "good" means you can stil play it but once it says "bad" well dont exert effort in recovering it..if this is due to deletion then try other softwares.if due to reformatting i doubt if you can still play it..

Hi Ice, if you have already copied over those files, then you do not have any way to recover the file. I mean there are always ways, but they can only be done by professionals, not lame people like us. I think the reason why those files could not be opened successfully, was because they were recovered in parts. The software could not recover it fully. That kind of thing happens when somethings have already been copied over that space. I used to use RECOVER MY FILES. I do not remember the version. It did pretty good job on a couple of occasions.

I think there are two options for you to recover your avi file.. the first is that you can restore your system last day when your file deleted.. and i think by doing this you can get your lost avi file.. and the another options is that you can use a software Easy Recovery..which can you download from internet..it is a free of cost software.. by using this software you may find your deleted avi file..

no one can swear that a recovered file will work or not. to know why,, you have to understand the working and mechanism of a harddrive. frankly, its a very detailed topic and if i tell it here now, it will take me more than an hour. and i dont want to spend my precious time by explaining these stuff which will give me 1 cent hahahahaha all i can say is, if you have altered the partition in "any way". then the chances of getting a corrupted file are more and more
