Conficker Virus

Hey I belive tthat i have tthe conficker virus. I cant get anywhere to remove it. I has disabled superantispyware an avg wont update and it dosent find anything when i scan. I cant load any antispyware site or download yhe removal tool from microsoft site. Most websites redirect to search pages. the pc is slow, svchost is robbing nearly all the memory. I tried to go to the microsoft websit and get the patch or the maliciuos software removal tool bu of course it wont let me do that. I am freaking out. Can anybody help me?

Hi, I got similar issue two months ago. IT guy provided to me a list of tools I should download and scan the computer. These really worked for me: 1) NOD32 antivirus 2) Super Antispyware 3) Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 4) Search&Destroy If possible try to follow the order from 1st to 4th, everytime download the program and scan the computer then download the next program and again scan computer. Are you using Internet Explorer? If it is not working, try Firefox to download the the programs listed above.

Yes i am using explorer, but i cant download firefox either. because of it is blocked. i dont know what to do should i install windows again.? thanks

No i am using another pc i have tried to delete cockies but it wont. it says that im not admin or somthing

If you do not have possibility to get an USB flash memory stick and download the antivirus on another pc and transfer it to yours, ask your colleague or friend if they could lend you one.

I too had that virus last year. Start windows in safe mode first before you run those anti-spyware and removal tools. When you are already in safe mode, follow the steps from microsoft's site or run those tools again. Good luck.
