Which is better to eat?

I know that vitaminC is from all fruit.And I am thinking that eating fresh fruit or eat vitaminC,which is the best way to make our body healthy?I like eat orange,But I am confuse that how many oranges I eat everyday can make myself have the adequate vitaminC.

Adults need 500 mg. of vitamin c everyday. Those above 30 however are required to double the dose. To be able to get 500 mg. or even more of vitamin c from fruits, I think you need a lot. It is better to take them in capsule form or vitamin form. That is what I do in order to strengthen the body and protect it from illnesses.

Aside from oranges, TOmato is also rich in vitamin C. i make tomato juice... and drink it every other day...

Hi, PurpleSally. I know that added an Vitamin C supplement will give the body more vitamins along with any Vitamin C foods. It is best to have both, but not just too much.

If you ask me which is tastes nice, of course i will tell you that fresh fruits are nicer to eat. In order to get enough vitamin C, we needs to eat a lot of fresh fruits like orange, apple, banana and lots more. I buy a lot of fruits for my family to eat, so i think my family don't really need to take vitamin C supplements anymore. Actually, i don't really like to eat vitamin C supplements because it don't really tastes nice, as compare to eating fresh fruits. Besides that, vitamin C supplements is quite expensive in price as compare to buying fresh fruits. So, i still prefer to buy fresh fruits for my vitamin C intake.

I prefer fresh fruits for the family than taking supplements. No one in our family takes any type of supplements. I agree by eating fruits we can't get the right amount of Vitamins needed for a daily dose but by eating fruits and veggies instead of supplements we get enough fiber which is very essential for our system to be clean.

Well i feel we need to know how much we lag with the calories, based on that we need to set the intake of fruits. Too much is also not good.
