Taking dowrey is sin.Giving dowrey is partial sin.. Gambling is sin.PLaying cards is partial sin. Drinking is sin. Smoking is partail sin. Not phonning to home is sin. Running up a huge bills is a partial sin. Forgetting first language is a sin.Speaking with an accent is partial sin.

Sorry my friend. I don't see anything to share my views on the matter because it's seems the case of sin in every actions we do...Hope you understand me. There is no clarified distinction whether those words must be treated as a whole...?

My opinion? None of these things is a sin. But I suppose there could be the temptation in some of them to abuse them and then they might become a sin...but no, I see no sin in these. Not all that we do is sin. More of what we do is good. Karen

As far as dowrey, I think that taking or giving it is a sin. I think that a marriage should be borne out of love, not out of a parent trying to sell their daughter to the highest bidder, so to speak. I do agree that some of the other things that you have mentioned can be sins, but in my opinion they aren't sins all the time, they are sins when they are done excessively. I, however, don't think that speaking with an accent is a sin at all because all people have an accent of some sort.
