Lakers trades or free agent signings

The Lakers are arguably the best team in the NBA with a great starting line up but If you could make a move for a role player or a change who would you trade for and who do you think the team needs to trade for if any?? No big moves like LeBron just quality additions that could help the team.

Aaron Brooks would be the perfect point guard for the triangle offense but i doubt the Rockets would give him up. Lakers pieces that could be traded for a quality addition would involve moving morrison, vujacic. And the position best they should improve is the PG spot. A PG that can defend and hit the open 3. If they could get Devin Harris from the struggling nets or Randy Foye from the disappointing wizards but are tough to pull off as well. They'd probably keep the team together for now and make additions in the offseason since the triangle offense needs some getting used to. Just ask Ron Artest. :D

Brooks? you must be joking.without ball in hand ,he is nothing. Farmer or Brown is good enough for lakers.I dont think lakers can get Harris or Foye if they want to remain the start 5 and odom.

Aaron Brooks has improved leaps and bounds since he entered the NBA and has become a much better scorer as he has shown this season and parts of last season too.

i agree. no big moves like LEBRON. the LAKERS would not ever ever need to add a player named LEBRON JAMES in their roster just to be a CHAMPIONSHIP caliber team. they did reach the playoff FINALS with their present ROSTER. (excluding ARTEST). but now with ARTEST. woohoo. i'm telling you. is that bees buzzing and swarming the players? oh no! it's ARTEST's DEFENSE. hahaha. :)

He certainly does swarm the player he is defending.

Devin Harris has been talked about but I see the more likely deal with Kirk Hinrich of Chicago Bulls. We know the two teams have talked about possible trades and I believe he would be a good addition if we could make it.

Shaq is on the downward spiral and really would not help the Lakers. Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum are the right players for us and Shaq is probably going to retire after the following season. Savour the great memories of Kobe and Shaq but that's all they should be.
