I am glad they made Lord of The rings, because most people don't know who Bilbo Baggins was. I was glad that they gave some insight as to who he was and also the ring. I loved the movie The Hobbit, and thought wow a new adventure.

How long has the Hobbit been out? and isn't that the story about, the little crazy hobbit guy, Golem? I guess I'm just trying to find out at what time does it take place.

Sometimes when they make movies based on books, they aren't able to really capture the spirit of the novel. However, the film version of 'Lord of the Rings' didn't disappoint. Years ago, I recorded 'The Hobbit' from TV, still have it and from time to time I watch it...8o)

I didn't knew there was already a movie The Hobbit. I read the four books and watched the three movies. I'm gonna check this one out.
