How much do you feel of what happens in your life is the result of what you or those close to you have done, and how much do you feel is the work of God? Is some of the good stuff a result of what you did? Is some of the bad stuff also the work of God? Come on and tell us what you think.

This is hard to explain, but I believe in free will and pre-destiny (you know, the God-given events that eventually happen without you having to make it happen?) - well anyway, as much as I'd like to think too much about it because it's a loaded question you know, I wouldn't worry about it , not anymore. Because I've learned that there are just some things that we humans in this lifetime are not meant to fully understand yet. Hopefully someday, maybe in the afterlife, we'll get the explanations but as for now, what's important is the peace of mind that I get from praying. (I know some people out there do not believe in religions, but I do. And it helps.)

for example, all human beings are destined to physically die when it's time. and the freewill part is, we can take care of our health to prolong our lives. of course unless we meet an accident which i cannot tell whether or not it's destiny or accidental (which God sometimes allow to happen). I know not everyone here has a belief in God but I do, so this explains my opinioin. Happy mylotting!

Have you heard the story in Exedus about God using Moses to bring the Israelites out of Egypt? Well, they went on a trip to the Promised Land, and it took them 40 years instead of 11 days. The reason for this is that they kept mumbling and complaining and misbehaving regardless of how many miracles He had done for them. It's the same with us, we have to do our part before He will reward us or answer our prayers. He chastises us with having to wait on our blessings. Learn to live for Him fully and you will see tribulations, but you will see His blessings too.
