MyLot Doubt

Hi!I'm new in Mylot and I'm not sure at what I'm doing. I have clicked on all the above tabs to find out how much a member gets paid for starting a discussion, posting a discussion, etc., and can't seem to find this information. Then I read in one of the posted discussion about a woman deciding which post was the best. This confused me even more. I tried to find a tab that would tell me how much to reach mylot to ask these questions but had no luck. FAQ's helped me a little, but not much. Do you get paid only 0.02$ for each discussion?Does this amount go up as you answer more discussions? Do you get paid more starting a discussion or posting a discussion? Is mylot based on buying what advertisers sell? I really would appreciate some answers to the above questions. I've just had a injury and I'm trying to make extra money to pay off the hospital bill. I had no insurance. My friend told me about this site ut she doesn't seem to know any of the answers either. Your help in answering the questions will be greatly appreciated.

This page of the FAQs should make it clearer: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#15 . There is NO set amount for what you do here. It is based on the QUALITY of your participation. That means your participation, not anyone else's: you earn no more for a discussion that gets one response than you do for one that gets a hundred ... unless you add quality comments to those responses. In short, it is what you type here (and what other people think of your responses, comments and discussions) that counts. If the proprietary - and very complex - algorithm sees that you have made a good, descriptive response, comment or discussion, then you are rewarded accordingly. Something which is of no value will earn you very little, if anything. We are encouraged to give 'Best Response' awards in our discussions (though sometimes is is difficult, if not impossible, to decide which one is 'Best') but these do not (according to what the Admins say) have anything to do with the earnings, either of ourselves or of the people we award them to. It is stated in the FAQs, however, that the Discussion Rating System (the little '+' and '-' marks by each discussion) is 'factored in to the Earnings Algorithm, which means that what others think of your responses &c does have a bearing on how much you earn. It pays, therefore, to do your best to give good quality responses!

Actually there's no fix amount. You earn more if your discussion carries information or is constructive. After reaching the 100th post, you will have rankings(star next to your user name). Some said that you will be paid more when your reputation is higher( highest is 10 ). Read my review on mylot in my profile website to know more.
