Your experience of counter-strike ?

I am a big fan of the counter-strike, still play it online and its a lot of fun pwning noobs :)
So, which version of cs you guys played the most out of all?
You played cs Online or on Lan?
How many years have u been playing cs or have played cs?
Did you play for any clan or just pubbed?
Dont you think VALVE makes too many addictive gives !?
I have been playing cs for more than 5 years now and 2010 has just started my 6th year :)
I for one have fallen in love with an other addictive Valve game, Team Fortress 2 plus the major class updates.
I prefer Lan gaming as online gaming has too many cheaters and lan gaming is just a hell lot of fun with many people(the personal touch :P)
Online gaming has another issue the LAGGG(the biggest disadvantage of online gaming?)
Anything interesting would be appreciated !

Counter Strike ftw :D The version I played most out of all, and actually the only version that Ive ever played of Counter Strike is Counter Strike Source (CSS). I have only played it online, never on LAN but I would like to try it on LAN sometime. I started playing CS in September 2006, and I havent played it for about 2 months or so. I used to be half decent at it but the last year Ive been playing it I havent been doing too well.. I think partly because the server I was playing on had a lot of amazing players though. And I actually was in a clan for a bit but I didnt get into any clan matches or anything and I was only in it for a bit. I dont really consider it being in a clan though since I didnt do anything. Good discussion by the way :)

LAN gaming is just awesome nothing like online you face your rival face to face !
I am currently in a clan called !rage we play against SG teams mostly but currently i am not in the scene have my exams around the corner so no form :(
Depends on server also which you play but most of the Pub servers have newbies not many good gamers. In scrim servers you have quite some good players.

I also hope to quit the game once i start working but till that time game on !
One thing i like about the game is it never gets boring i know people who have been playing it from 8 years who still play while they are working.

CS eh? hahah I've finished my High School with the GAME on me.. uh-huh! 1st year high until 4th year. hahah ^_^
That time, CS here is popular on LAN only, No battlenets or so. Of course we formed a CLAN. That's the thrilling part. The Clan match with bets, I have my daily allowance go there. hahaha.. Even the food. I'm eating the CHEAPEST foods so I can save my cash for CS when class is dismissed. hahaha ^_^

I started CS when i was in the 8th still play it hopefully ill be done with it when i finish my university !
Clan matches rocked but i at least used to not play for money or unless some fees for entering a tourney. Its like indirect gambling which i don`t like.
Like if we were the best or 2nd best the honour we had in the cafe was too much to handle :)
