I have heard of a site called microworks (or microworkers someting like that.) I see a list of available jobs there and times like 5 minutes, 10 minutes etc. What does that mean? Can anyone, who is a member of that site tell me? And yes, is this site for Indians? I mean does it pay members from India via paypal?

Hi Abhi!
It is microworkers. The members post some tasks and other members who are interested in it complete the tasks and get paid.
The tasks include, blog post, sign up, digg a link, write an article, forum posts, and many various types.
They also give you $1 bonus when you join. But that can be used only to post tasks they call it creating a campaign. Then others work on the campaign and get paid.
Yes Indians can join the site.
Workers can withdraw earned money through PayPal, Check, Moneybookers, etc. After you have requested a payout, it takes up to 30 business days to process the payment.
You also need to give your correct name and address because you cannot edit it later. You need to send a support ticket etc. So sign up with your original name so that while getting payment there shouldn't be any hassles.

A flawless response. 
I only want to know what the time in there suggests. If that is the time limit I am expected to finish off the job and I suppose take more time then what? Please do tell me.

Usually the tasks take a very little time to finish so there will be no problem. The time given is just to give an idea about the task. It doesn't mean you need to finish the task within five minutes or so. So you can take more time unless they mention you to finish within the time frame.
And after submitting it will take time to get approved.
One more thing is they send you a PIN to your address! Only after confirming and verifying they send the payment.

Yes, it is microworkers, and it is totally legit. I am a member of that site for several months, and they really pay you. It pays you if you have a paypal account. I always use papal to receive payment, and I am from China. So I think maybe it pays to india via paypal, too. Good luck with you!

the time given is not the amount of time in which you have to finish the work. It is just the approximate time in which you can finish the work.
here how i used to work. I check the work and check all what i can do, i studied and did all the work,after i complete only i accept the work.

Yes micro is a very professional site where we can earn doing small jobs its open to all over the world and you can have money doing little jobs.They pay through pay pal and you have a 15 days waiting time the min pay out is 9$.ok you can get your works also done by paying for campaigns.by the way its a legitimate site.good site.
