Have you ever gotten a gift that you really didnt like and then when you had to give a gift you gave that to someone else? I know that i have never done that, but i have heard it has been done before.

LMAO!! No I haven't. But I have also heard of the ones that can't remember who gave them what, and when giving a gift they gave it right back to the ones that gave it to them!! Too funny!!

No, I would feel way too guilty to do something like that! At absolute worst if I REALLY didn't like the gift and was something I simply could not use I would keep it for awhile to see if it did come to use, then probably give it to someone NOT as a gift but tell them it was an item I couldn't use. (I'd feel too uncomfortable throwing it away, that is such a waste of the buyers money) I think it would be very rude to pass it on as a gift you had bought someone yourself.

No, Ive never regifted, but on the other hand Im in a book club where you have to cancel the book of the month. The books that I forget to cancel often end up as gifts. (unread of course!)

No, I don't think that I have ever done that. I think that it has been to me though. When I was 14 I had a big birthday party and someone gave me a snowglobe with flowers in it that I swear was from their house.

I have gotten many gifts I didn't like, but I have never regifted them. My boyfriends parents always buy me things that are not my style. I just keep them for awhile and then donate it to goodwill.

Well, I have re-gifted before, but I had let several years go by before I did it... I also buy things at garage sales and give them as gifts... No one is any the wiser, and I always give gifts to those that will appreciate them most... If I receive a gift I don't like, I will keep it till another year and send it to a friend out of town or out of state that will never run into my other friends... I find it is the best way to recirculate gifts you no longer have a need for...

Yes I re-gift. If I don't like something and I think that someone else will I have no problem giving it to them as a gift. In fact I did it at my baby shower. I had my shower first and someone got me a pink outfit and since I don't know what I am having I gave it to my cousin (who is having a girl) at her shower.
