what's a blog

i'm going to sound really thick now,but what is a blog,i've seen many discussions on here about them,and how you earn money through them,but i've no idea what they are,can someone please explain

Blog (Web log) is nothing but a personal journal or diary maintained on the web where one can log anything one wishes to say, upload pictures, express his/her thoughts on any subject under the sun. An outlet to pour out ones thoughts that others can read. Blogspot.com is a good place to start if you so wish.

I'm hoping if you find out, Ill read it too------talk about being thick!! I am not sure I know either but think it's journal type of writing, etc. Just let me know if and when you know !!!

It can be a journal, in fact I use to use one as a journal. Many people enjoy reading what goes on in our lives, so just write away. If you enjoy gardening write about that. If you enjoy working on cars, write about that.
