i only hear about laptop 2 years ago. then last year, i found some of my friends making some tasks from their notebooks. and then this year, i found a netbook from a computer store. what on earth is coming up next. i got confused which gadget shall i get. are these equipment have the same features and capabilities? obviously, i see them having different sizes. large, medium, small. but then, i don't seem convinced with the looks of laptops anymore. can anyone differentiate these things for me, please? i have no idea where they differ. thanks.

Palmtop computers will be the next hit.Ipad is the name given for it by apple.Net books are small sized laptops with all other features but without a writer and hence it has more backup time for battery.Netbook promises even 8 hours of backup but give 5 and a half hours in reality.Technology will soon develop where we will access anything from our computer and the computer may even come to fit our fist.

For your information, there is one more which is going to be available in the near future. That is the Ipad from Apple. Ipad is a bigger version of the famous Iphone, without the flash capabilities.
Notebook and netbooks are almost the same. Usually they have a 10 inch screen, and do not have a dvd writer/player, and it is quite light when compared with the laptop.Of course their HDD, and Ram is also quiet less when compared with the laptop.

There is out now in America something called an ipad. It is pretty much a tablet laptop with just a display screen and is completely touch screen. Kinda like a really big iphone but with PC capabilties. Technology will never stop growing, we just have to do our best to keep up with it. haha

Technology is very dynamic. We can't stop it from growing. There are lot of modern gadgets that are being invented nowadays. Who knows they can invent a mini computer just like a cellphone that we can just put it in our pockets? haha! I don't know. Anyway as for your question, yes these three differ in some ways. Laptop usually comes with built-in cd/dvd rom and yes, this is the biggest one among the three. On the other hand, notebook and netbook, do not have built-in cd/dvd room. These three also differ in the hardware specifications such as the size of RAM, hard disk, etc. They do not have standard sizes I think, if you buy one you just have to look for the one you think has the best specs :) enjoy! :)
