Just as the question asks, do you like or hate spoilers. I frequent a lot of anime forums so I'm always coming across discussions about various anime series. A lot of the members like the talk about actual things going on the series and they are good at using the spoiler tags to prevent giving away too much info for people who haven't seen the show. But there's always those that forget and so I end up reading aobut what happens. This usually doesn't bother me most of the time but I do get a bit irritated when I read or hear some spoilers for a show that I'm really into. It can definitely make or break a show for me. Sometimes I would hate how the show ended or something along that line and stop watching the show.

I hate spoilers, for anything and everything I watch and enjoy. I only want spoilers if I go out and seek them, which usually means I don't truly care about enjoying the product but more about finding out what happened out of general curiosity. I also avoid giving spoilers unless specifically asked, or if in a thread that it is noted that spoilers are to be discussed there.

I don't really like spoilers, unless it's for shows that I don't really like.

My thoughts exactly. No point in getting pissed off if it is for something I don't care about, right?

Hi there Saizo! I don't like spoilers too but I don't mind it when someone accidentally tells me about a book or movie because I tell them to stop since I want to see it or read it myself. I think that most people understand that and would not take offense. On forums, I am only active in a parenting forum and even though we have parts of the forum for entertainment where books and films were included, they are really careful to post a warning in the thread's subtitle that indicates a spoiler inside.

I'm the same way too. If I don't want to be spoiled with the details I'd usually as the person to gloss over it too. But yeah, the forums are another thing. Most of the people are good about giving a warning or putting tags but once in a while someone forgets. It's really no big deal a lot of the times for me unless it was something I was really looking forward to.

99% of the time spoilers are completely avoidable. personally i don't mind them but if you hate them then simply don't look at them

It usually isn't a problem and easily avoidable but sometimes when I'm reading the posts in forums people forget to put the spoiler tags on so I end up reading about things without even noticing it.

I don't mind spoilers, in fact I like it. I know that most of the anime fans don't like spoiler but I do. That is also one of the reason why I want to read manga. I will be able to tell what's the next story while watching the anime.
