Family on Facebook

Already the family is drifting with no real contact and this Facebook has made it worse in that everyone is rushing to register there and expecting to meet there. Is this a wise decision. Don't you think that family should meet face to face not just at functions but at other times too on a one to one basis?

That is not always easy to do when your family is all over the country.
I was able to friend m cousins who live in a different state that I have not seen since they were children. It is great because I can now keep in touch with them and what is going on with their life. Stuff I might not have found out for years before..
In that respect I think Facebook is a good thing!
