Who would not prefer to have a new finished residence of their own ? It would actually be a long cherished dream coming true. A dwelling place with all the basic amenities along with a few of the luxurious items would be the ideal choice rather a posh mansion with little positive air to breath on.

When I was looking for a house to buy I saw a lot of them! One of them was really big and I thought how nice it would be to live there but the house didn't really feel welcoming and I began to wonder what I would do with all that space! I live alone with my two dogs so I don't need a lot of space. I bought a 3 bedroom, 2 story house that welcomed me when I stepped inside and we're very happy! I don't have luxuries except for my computer and a 15 year old TV that has a big viewing area. I like my comfortable house that's just right for all my needs!

I am fortunate enough to be living in a modest although comfortable home that I will own as soon as the bank is repaid! It is a lovely house and meets our little family’s needs perfectly; it has a nice garden with a swimming pool so I consider myself very blessed to be living here. A friend of mine lives in a similar home and she has hers paid off which is fantastic but although there are only two adults and one child living there she does not consider it good enough and wants to extend the place by adding 3 bedrooms with bathrooms turning it into a small mansion. She would have a mortgage again and would have to go from being at home to full time work and for what? To me it is silly to sacrifice one’s life for the sake of keeping up with the ‘Joneses’!

I will be moving in to my new residence come May this year. It will be in a housing estate situated in town centre, a far cry from the big house with a big compound that I used to live in the village. Since all the children have left the nest, I opt to stay in a smaller area now. But it is something that I cherished most as it is an inherited gift from mom.

having to live here in this retirement center simply because we got evicted hurts down really deep inside. we did not own our own home but my adult son and I,I have been widowed for long time, did rent an apartment. now I long to live in any kind of good house or apt that is basic and c lean, but to do that my unemployed son needs that hard to get job so he can accumulate the funds to rent again. It is a long cherished dream of mine for over a year now. It neednt be luxurious just good.
