I learned when I was 19,because I never had anyone willing to teach me sooner than that.My step father finally taught me.My mother wouldn't help me out.I wanted to learn alot sooner than that.I passed my road test so easily,it wasn't hard for me at all.what about you ,how old were you when you learned to drive?

I was 16. That was when schools still offered driving classes taught by a full time driving teacher. Mr. Rood was VERY picky and I'm glad I had him as a teacher. He taught us to think ahead and plan for emergencies and that's saved my life a couple of times! I didn't get a car till I was 18 but got a lot of practice with my parents' cars.

I had to wait because I didn't have someone who would allow me to use their car.I do remember driving class in high school back then.I didn't take that class. Finally my step father allowed me to use his car.I remember I bought a $200.00 car after I got my license. That's when things weren't expensive. Now if you bought a car for that price ,it would be something in the junk yard.

I learned to drive when I was 14. My older brother taught me in our old beat up car. I remember being too short to even see the front of the car. I just drove around the village because I was too young to get a license. I got my license when I was 17 because this is the law in the Philippines.

I learned to drive properly in the break of 18 and 19. Actually, I'm finishing my driving school at the moment, but I think I can drive already.
