I have over 3000 books right now. I have been collecting for awhile. Every week I go out and buy at least one book. Some time that doesn't happen and I come home with 15 books. I wanted to know some books that people are reading right now or have read that were interesting or just a good read? Just list one book and tell a little about it, not much! The title and who it is by. If you could rate the book for 1 being poor and 10 being great. I want people to do this so other people can maybe find a wonderful new book to get there hands on and enjoy. I will start with..... Still Alice by Lisa Genova. It is about a woman who is 50 years old. She is a professor at Harvard in Psychology. She is married with three grown children. As the story goes on you learn she has Alzheimer disease. This book brought tears to my eyes a couple of times. It is well written and hard to put down. I rate it at an 8.

3,000? Dang. Have you read them all? I'm pretty proud of my book collection but I've only got 100 or so. Do you have a big huge library where you keep them all? I'm really into high fantasy. Some recent books that I really enjoyed were "The Black Unicorn" by Terry Brooks and "Taliesin" by Stephen Lawhead. "The Black Unicorn" is the second book in Brook's Magic Kingdom of Landover series. In this book a black unicorn is spotted roaming Landover, and the citizens of Landover have to decide whether or not the unicorn is a threat or the victim of some treacherous plot. "Taliesin" is an Arthurian fantasy that combines the legends of King Arthur with the legends of Atlantis. I'd give both a 9.

To reply back to "allyoftherain". I haven't read them all. I buy so many at a time that I haven't been able to read them all yet. Someday! I have one room dedicated to all my books with hand made bookcases that hold only some of my books. A lot of them are packed away, (only ones I have read and will not read again). I am thinking on donating some of the boxed ones away. I am in the process of designing and building my first home. There I am going to have a offical library built to hold all my books and maybe more. I just love reading and hearing about new books. So, thank you and I will check out any books that get put in this discussion.

Less Than Zero by Brett Easton Ellis It's about a group of young adults who live in LA and get really caught up in the whole scene . It's one of my favorite books . I love the way it's wrote . I would give it a perfect 10 !
