New Youtube features.

There is a new youtube feature and I dont know how it works, if someone can explain it to me it will be great. Because I think there is no difference with those 360p and 480p or something like that.

Its just suposed to be a higher resulation qulity then the standard setting. Its basically replacing the "hQ or HD" button with a number value instead. For some there won't be a differance, but it depends on the connection speed of the user, the screan resulation of the user's computer and the qulity of video the uploder uploaded.
Quite often when you see no change, the uploader used the standard, which means there would be no effect differance switching.

It replaced the HD (High Digital) option. You are opt to choose whether you want to view the video in high resolution which means in good quality. You may take notice of that when you play the same video at the same time. I mean try to play the same video in another tab and choose the 480p. When you compare the two, you will see that 480p has more clear resolution and finer sound system. But if are using a slow connection or low mbps, 480p will load slower. I usually choose 360p because it loads easily on my pc.
