In our small place we only have "pedicabs" as means of transportation around the city. In this small vehicle, the main seat can only accommodate two people, two more in the extension, and two more can ride behind the driver's seat. So this is what happened. I was waiting for a "pedicab" one day, when one came along. When it was already near, I notice that there was already a passenger inside---a man who was not wearing any shirt at all and was holding many sharp knives (around 6) with both his hands--I mean, the knives were of different sizes, and they were not wrapped or anything, the man was just holding them in the open. It was scary. If I took this pedicab, I would be sitting next to this knife-collector. I thought fast and declined the driver when he stopped to let me ride. I could not ride next to a man who was holding so many knives. What was he thinking? If you were in my place at that time and you were in a hurry to reach your destination, would you have taken the ride? Would you just take this incident like a matter of course. Now if you were on the part of the man and you really needed to transport or bring those knives some place else, wouldn't you have the decency or common sense to wrap them or put them in a container of some sort? Do you have rules in your country regarding people carrying stuff like this in the open?
