How? First get the objects or the pictures you wanted to animate with. After Gathering them make a new blank composition layer. Cluster all together the picture or objects. Make sure you separate the objects by layers like example: circle 1st layer, Box 2nd layer, Mouse 3rd layer and etc. depending how many pics you want. Next after gathering all the layers go to the tool bar and look for window go to animation. Once the animation bar prompts this where you edit your pictures or objects in animation. So as of now you will see your first clip which is labled 1. Duplicate the layers in the animation box. If you have 3 objects then duplicate it into 3 layers. Here you now play which object which comes first in your animation. As you can see there is a play and pause button below. To change the other layer into another object make sure you hide the other layers in the different animation scene. Each scene has there own layers of object. Just hide the others and then click play and you'll see what I mean. You can also change the speed how many sec. or miliseconds the object changes just click the seconds button just below the layer animation. To save your composition in a GIF format follow this File Save for Web (shortcut Alt+Shft+Ctrl+S. I recommend you use the default settings there or if you want to explore then you can then click save. There you have your first GIF. I hope I'd help you in making GIF files. ^^

Is this the same procedure you will do when you make GIFs out of video clips? Or do you have to use a different program?
