As the question says,do you let other people touch your laptop or any other gadget for this sake? I am a bascially a very possessive one! I let my parents and my brother only touch my computer and gadgets! I get angry if even my cousin wants to play on my computer! It is just to annoying to see someone else using your stuff!

Apart from my family member and my close friends i never give my gadget to anyone. I doesn't feel good and have a tension what will he do with my thing that i have given to him.

Well I guess it depends on "how" they touch the gadgets. Not literally okay. Haha. Like for instance in cellphone, they can go through the pictures, the applications, the music, as long as they don't go through my messages :) Hahahaha.. although there's nothing really "intriguing" in my phone messages, I still prefer them not to be read because those are personal stuffs already.. (considering that the phone itself is a personal stuff already. haha) When it comes to my mp4 player, it's okay for them to use it.. except my e-books. hahaha. there's also nothing fishy about the e-books i've downloaded but i just feel uncomfortable if they read my downloaded e-books. hahaha.. :) My laptop? I don't mind when my very close friends and family use them. Actually I just lend my gadgets to people I'm very close with ;)

Personally I do not like anyone using my gadgets. You do not know how they will handle and any important file in computer may be inadvertantly deleted. It is better to be careful than repenting later.

Good to e careful I agree, but then if a friend is in need, better to do right and be wronged than to be selfish: I guess there's a balance somewhere?

Depends on who the others are. The only people who can are my husband, my parents, and my siblings. They're careful with my things plus they wouldn't read messages stored in my phone. If other people want to use it, they should ask permission from me. But if I really don't want other people messing with my gadgets, I keep them away from their sight.

Yep, provided that they know how to respect privacy (phone)or how to use my gadgets (esp my DSLR). =)

Yeah I know what you mean! I went abroad and struggled with other people wearing my shoes! But it also taught me something: Jesus said "where your treasure is, there your heart will be also". So I guess another question is do other people loving Jesus make you jealous, or is it that actually your stuff is more important to you?! Take up the challenge my friend, be honest and see where it leads you!
