Do you still celebrate Valentines Day and exchange Gifts or ??

I've been with my beloved for quite a few years now and he's very hard to buy for. Generally he tells me something he'd like for the shop or a new tool but he hasn't given me any hints yet for Valentine's Day. We generally have exchanged gifts but money is rather tight this year. So I'm not sure if he's hesitant to bring up the topic of just cards which would be fine with me or not. Any gifts that you've given or received that have been special but not too pricey?? And do you still give gifts after 10 years or just let it slide...I'd rather not let it slide but don't want to make him continue if he'd rather not... We always give our little one a little piece of Jewelry for Valentine's day and we've already picked it out... And advice or comments would be very much appreciated!

I always wanted to celebrate special occasions with my boyfriend especially valentine's day. But we usually can't hang out together because of work. Last valentine's we're away from each other and so busy that we even didn't even have the time to bought something for each other. I hope this year is different. But I still don't know what to buy for my boyfriend. He's too choosy or picky or too hard to please. He always says that having me alone with him is enough for him. Too bad we can't be alone totally.

That is so sweet! All he wants is you! Consider yourself very lucky since that is not the case with many men! I hope that this year you are able to spend some special time together just the two of you! Be Well!

Hehe. Yeah he's really sweet but I really don't believe him saying he doesn't want anything(material things). For sure he's craving for some material things out there. Could be cool gadgets. But I really don't know. He doesn't want to tell me cause he doesn't want me to spend a single dime for him. Meanwhile I also don't want to just pick anything in the market for him since he's really hard to please. Don't know what to do.:p

My boyfriend is actually very hard to buy for too. Everything he likes is musical and I'm not so musically inclined so picking something out for him is almost impossible. I think it's good to share a reasonable gift for Valentines day. It shows you still care. I know we will go out to dinner but I have no clue as to what I will get him. Good luck with the gift. I'll need it too..lol.

Well, it definitely helps knowing that I'm not the only one that has a tough time figuring out a special gift! Some people are just so hard to find the right present for. It sounds like the two of you already have the workings of a special night together, going out to dinner is a nice way to spend some couple time! Be Well!

This is actually me and my boyfriends first valentines together so im pretty excited to see what he will get me and i am trying to get him some Miami Heat basketball tickets since that is his favorite team. I am not that much into but i would go with him. He would also like anything that is Miami heat, so if your husband has a favorite team that he likes i would say buy something from that. I see he has a shop that you talked about and so does my boyfriend and he is always talking about things he wants and what not. If he asked for something for Christmas and didn't get it then that is something you could buy. There are so many tools out their and i am sure he doesn't have them all. Take a walk through sear, home depot or lowe's and you might find something that stands out that you would think he likes.

Thanks for the great suggestions! Congrats on your 1st Valentine's Day together! I think your idea of the Miami Heat tickets and maybe a T shirt are awesome and I think he'll be delighted! Take care!
