Do you know if there is going to be another stimulus check this year?

Hi Thoroughrob. I heard it from someone that isn't all there and wanted to see if anyone else had heard it. I am glad they put the working credit in the taxes. That will help those that work. These days with the prices so high it helps everyone to get a break.

Hi RachelleNH. I don't know if he has any other plans for anyone not os SSI. This helps us on SSI. It is hard to live on a fixed income and no real extra money coming in. I will help us to pay off some of our over due bills.

Yeah I can't imagine...although I know a few people that do live on it somehow...I think he should raise their monthly income allowance instead of offering a one time deal though..don't you?

Hi RachelleNH. I think they should raise what we live on. The SSI is barley enough to make it from the start of the month to the end of the month. I hate it the bills takes just about all we have. Not much to live on by time we pay the light bill the mortgage and then to have a phone line it is nuts to make it. That is just plain sick we work all our lives to have something to retire on and then what just barley survive to the next month. That is B.S. I think they should raise it to double what they give us now. And a phone is not considered a necessity. These days with all the people that want to steal for a living it is a necessity to have a phone. Heck what you supposed to do if there is someone trying to do you harm?

Hi Sid I hope they do send out this 250.00 it will help us a lot we will spend it on bills not go out and buy stuff we don't have already. We don't need much to live on but it does help with the bills. We are not in debt other then the normal bills phone lights, cell phone and gas to heat the house with. We keep them caught up but with winter being so cold we are using a lot more gas and electricity to warm up the house.

Ok so I'm starting to see that this stimulus would not be for everyone but for those on SSI. Well, a bonus would be good for you. I think truthfully that they should just pay you more each and every month anyway. What people get for SSI is barely enough to get by on and often not even that. You've put into the system all these years then you should be able to live comfortably.

Hi Sid. Would be nice to be able to make it from the beginning of the month to the end of the month but not possible. Our light bill takes up a lot of money and then you take into consideration that we have to pay for propane and a phone would have to do without the internet without a phone. Which isn't good cause we live out in the sticks and it is a cheap way to keep in contact with others. Plus I would miss my lot if we didn't have a phone. We don't have any extras on the phone line just the computer. We do have to have a cell phone to call those that we do call cause they all are on our plan. This stimulus check will just help us catch up on our bills. The cost of living didn't go up this year on our check so we are out by that. But the cost of living did go up on all the things that involve everyday life. Groceries have jump sky high bills have almost doubled. It is just ridiculous on what we have to live on. But there are many people that are worse off then us. Thank God for what we do have.
