i can last from evening until around 5 in the morning just by being online or gaming.i can do that because i have insomia.but most of the time i feel sleepy when it reaches the time of 3 in the morning.since i dont get sleepy from evening i start to go online and check my sites and after that go on playing until i feel sleepy.i do it even if i have work at 9 in the morning.i think it has began a routine for me and make my insomia usefull for me i always go online here in mylot to make my internet time worthwhile.

No I can't. When I look at the computer screen, in excess of 5 hours I will be having a migraine. My eyes goes tired when I look at the screen that long. I can't stay that long. Even if I have so much to do, i can't do that. At work I can stay for whole 9 hours in front of the computers but I keep going far whenever my eyes ache. I rest my eyes for a minute , or I will turn of the computer in the meantime while doing work that do not need the screen then when my eyes gets its rest I will look back at the computer again.

I have stayed on the computer all night long a few times, when I bought Sims 2 and Sims 3. It's such an addicting game and if you start playing it in the evening, it can take a long time to build a house and have kids, so I stay up longer. I don't have insomnia, I just want to play the game and I can't get away from the computer. I also stay up sometimes when I watch tv shows from that night on my computer.

Is that even a question?? lol Because that's exactly my way of life for years now. :D Ever since I started working for a BPO company, I've alotted most of time surfing the internet. I used to work graveyard shifts and even though my shift have been adjusted to an earlier, more normal schedule, I still find myself awake in the wee hours of the night. So I make use of my time by surfing the internet. I feel disconnected with the world if I'm not online. Most of my friends are based on different countries now and it's how we keep in touch. My dad also works abroad so we communicate via the internet as well. Not only that, I also like visiting sites where I can read a lot of random information like news and medical stuffs or for entertainment like online gaming.. (but not so much). =)

The time I spend online is restricted by my obligation to go to work, so the idea of remaining online until a few hours before work is certainly not appealing to me. However, if I have the free time then I would not depend on the clock and there is always a likelihood of being online during the night. It would not be for gaming since that does not interest me, but if I was involved in whatever I was doing then I would only stop when I felt ready to do so.

I used to do that when i first had internet, about 9 yrs ago, before i met hubby..then when we met, online, we used to either see each other until about that time, or chat online until way early in the morning. Now that we are married, both have daytime jobs, and have a 2 yrs old boy, we don't have the need for that anymore. Of course, we still have internet, but only once in a while we chat with our friends only.

There is no way I can stay online all night. I tend to crash around 9.30 to 10.00. Some mornings I have to get up at 4.00am for my daughters swimming. Even so, I often tiring out too much to concentrate being online at night. I am a morning person. I hope you get enough sleep to work.

As a matter of fact, I can play the computer for a long time at night. But maybe not as long as you do. I can stay up until about 3 in the morning. But it is very hard for me if I want to stay up longer. I will feel terrible after 3 in the morning. And when I wake up in the morning, I will also feel not so good.

Hi Johndur Hoho. I used to be a huge internet addict. On days I am not at school, I will be on the computer and the internet from 10 am to 5 am, with a few breaks in between to eat, bath, and pray. On days I have school it'll be from 8pm to 3 am (I have to wake up at 6 am for school though) However, I suggest you try to readjust your body clock and try to find ways to help your insomnia. I know it sounds rather stupid but I went though insomnia too and resorted to extreme ways to get myself to sleep. Once it was exam week, I couldn't sleep at all so I woke up all night for 2 days in a row, only to crash on the bed on the third day, getting one whole day of sleep. However, I still sneak on mylot at 3 am :P Have a nice day!

That would be impossible, since our body has its own unique body clock for a standard hour of rest and doing some activities. If I am stuck on the computer for quite a long period, my body will act tired and most especially my eyes will hurt and dries up resulting that I may rest for some time and it’s impossible to do such of an activity. Unless, you had slept too early and can’t go to bed in the late night.

The longest time I stay online with my computer is usually 3 hours. That is when we talk about going online. I usually post in mylot, then update my blogs and sometimes submit some articles. But of course I use my computer daily for most of my work which are done offline.

My husband and I know someone who has insomnia and so he found a job working third shift. This way he can be working when he feels the most productive, and then during the day he can sleep. I'm not sure what makes people insomniacs to be honest, but I've heard melantonin in the skin when exposed to the suns rays helps wake us up... or something along those lines. I have been online for hours and hours, of course I did that mostly before I found mylot. Though I have gotten online at night, now since my husband and I both work, we do our online stuff during the day.
