I wonder when will our economy be good... Almost all the things we need are so expensive now and many people are suffering now. What can you say or opinion about our economy? Will these kind of methods enough for all filipinos? NFA sugar & rice will save a little money but I think it's not enough.

As long as our agriculture industry is not getting enough support from the government, we'll still be suffering from these kinds of shortages. And there is the El Nino phenomenon which will further affect the production of sugar and rice. Government officials are proudly saying that our economy is rising but prices of commodities are also rising. These NFA rice and sugar are just ways of the government to calm the public from making an uprising because of the shortages in rice and sugar the Philippines are facing right now.

I think with the sugar issue I think there is a worldwide shortage that is why the prices are going up. Naturally the sugar producers would like to sell them at world market price that is why the local prices are rising as well. For rice I guess one factor is the incoming El nino which means long dry spell for us, which, means that water will be short and rice production will be affected. When there is shortage there is a natural rise in prices to cope up with the demand.

I think our economy will drop this year because of the past calamities and the coming El Niño. NFA rice and sugar will only just help a little because the salaries of workers are still not going up.

Hi. As long as we don't solve our problems on corrupt people, our economy will never be better. Let's see what the next president can do. Hopefully this is the time for our true change.
